Welcome!
The Ngo lab leverages tools from tissue engineering, cell engineering, and synthetic biology in order to study how communication between different cell types influences tissue form and function. We build tissue models in order to understand how cell-cell communication contributes to tissue development, repair/regeneration, and disease. We also engineer tissue therapies in which we tune cell-cell communication in order to guide regeneration post-transplantation.
We are committed to training the next generation of scientists and engineers to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and leaders. We strive to build an inclusive, creative, and collegial environment in which lab members can work towards their scientific and professional goals.
